On tour: Mlini, Zaton

After the splendid Montenegro leg of our 2016 tour, we’re heading back to Croatia for two qualifying events, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina finale in Neum.

09.07. Mlini

Mlini used to be the ancient historical settlement Molina. It was the centre of the milling trade – hence the name – and the place Dubrovnik was getting its water from. Nowadays Mlini is the most scenic village in the area, with its own sea, small river of Zavrelje, shallow pebble beaches and protected bays, flower filled gardens and paths, hotels and summer residences. You’ll love not only its beautiful nature, but also rich history and cuisine. Sports and active vacation lovers can enjoy diving, jet-ski, windsurfing, water skiing, parasailing, soccer, volleyball, cycling, tennis, fishing, hiking and lots of other activities.

11.07. Zaton

Zaton is embraced with bays with sandy beaches and pictoresque nature, or in other words, it’s very favorable for the holidays. Some prefer private accomodation, others are coming with a sleeping bag or a tent. Are you in for an adventure? You can not only sleep in the nature, but also walk, run, climb, dive, enjoy water skiing or windsurfing. There are no big hotels and crowds, so if you like it nice and quiet, you’ll love it here. There’s also a couple of fine restaurants with great views, so that should wake up the romantics in you. This little peaceful oasis is located only 8 km from Dubrovnik (and we probably don’t have to remind you what can you see in Dubrovnik, right?).
