City Games 2016: Zlatibor

Serbian City Games finals were held yesterday on crowded pool of Dragan Kićanović’s hotel Olimp in Zlatibor.

Team from Kragujevac won the games, so they will represent Serbia on international semi-finals in Biograd in late August. There they’ll compete with 11 other European countries!

We saw 6 teams from all over Serbia competing in Zlatibor: Trsteničani, Undisputed Brothers from Sombor, PVK Kraljevo, Čistoća Sombor, Zlatibor and Kragujevac, winning team under the guidance of thriatlon athlete Marko Pavlović. They had no doubt they’ll win even for a second and they also promised to give their best in Biograd as well.

Teams in Zlatibor competed in 6 various disciplines: tourist rescuing, flying water polo, water basket, paddle, prosciutto and for the first time on our tour – sea alka.

We met well known Serbian basketball player nenad Krstić, who was really glad to see people playing and having time just as they did on legendary Games without borders. Of course, he wished the Serbian team all the luck in the international semi-finals in Biograd.

Our next stop: Herceg Novi, Montenegro!
