With a help of local volunteers we put a show that will be remembered for a long time!

We had 6 great teams in Zaglav: Luški Šušur, Žman, Zaglav, Vršica, Mušum preko and Dream team from Slovenia. They all gave their best to win the ticket for semi-final, through which they can take a shot for big Croatian final in Malinska on August 4. Žman won these games, while local team Zaglav was second-placed. These two teams now have the chance to go further into the competition.

Teams were competing in 5 disciplines: flying water polo, water basket, tourist rescuing, donkey race and the mother of all games – tug of war. Yes, we always say it’s the mother of all as it’s the last game and very often it decides the winner.

Prior to these there were junior competing in bag race. Statival team won over Gusari, Dalmatinke i Dalmatinac, Dupinići, Luški Šušurići and AMCRO.

This qualifying event was sort of an intro for traditional local festivity called Kake Bake, organized by basketball club Zaglav and Kake Bake association, group of local volunteers who wants to do something good for their community. We’re really glad City Games is a part of their efforts!
