Slovenia sends us a team that will be hard to beat in the water…

Maja Kugonič, national champion in swimming (50 and 100 metres butterfly) leads the team from Velenje, the Slovenian representatives at this year’s international City Games finals. The rest of the team also consists of players experienced in water games, namely athletes engaged in swimming, water polo and water basketball. They managed to defend last year’s title of the best Slovenian team and now they are in for the gold. Training regularly on the Velenjsko lake, they are ready for a march on City Games throne and the best result any Slovenian team achieved at this popular summer event so far!
